Coventry to hold early childhood screenings Wednesday

COVENTRY — Coventry Public Schools will be conducting a free developmental screening of 3- and 4-year-old children Wednesday.

Early childhood educators will conduct the screening to review children’s development in skill areas such as self-help, concepts, hearing, speech, vision, motor skills, social emotional development, language and vision.

After the screening, parents and guardians will receive a feedback on their child’s skill areas.

Appointments are available at 9 and 10:30 a.m. at the town hall annex, 1712 Main St.

Additional screenings will be done at 5:30 p.m. at the Hale Early Education Center at 1776 Main St.

Appointments will take about an hour and can be scheduled at www.signupgenius.com.
